Friday night some fellow OPUS students and I went to formal guest dinner at New College. It was awesome! We felt like we were in Harry Potter.

Up (relatively) bright and early the next day for a field trip to Stonehenge and Bath. Yes, I know Stonehenge is just a bunch of rocks. Yes, I know its bitterly cold. Yes, I know the masses of tourists are obnoxious and slightly more interesting. But I've ALWAYS wanted to see Stonehenge so this was a great moment for me.
Then, onto Bath. I really had no idea what to expect for this part of the fieldtrip. We got to see Bath Abbey, which was neat. And the Roman Baths, which was neater. But my favorite part was the walk along the river. The colors were beautiful, but muted by the mist. The air wasn't "butt-cold" as my high school history prof would say. I got to spend it with some great friends. It was a good day. :)
Now back to work. I have four essays to write in 2 weeks, then its off to Scotland and Ireland for six days and then back to the good ol' USofA. Hollar.
